1. Development achievements of the Eleventh Five Year Plan

The progress of new fiber application technology has enriched the varieties of industrial textiles and expanded the application fields. Aramid, polyphenylene sulfide and other high-tech fibers are applied to gas filter materials, so that the use environment of filter textiles is extended to high-temperature, corrosive and complex environment, which extends the service life of products and significantly improves the dust filtration efficiency. (III) backbone enterprises and industrial clusters have initially taken shape
the strength of backbone enterprises of industrial textiles has been continuously enhanced. In 2010, there were 20 enterprises with sales revenue of more than 500 million yuan and 10 enterprises with sales revenue of more than 1 billion yuan. Backbone enterprises have a large market share in the fields of transportation, medical and sanitary, synthetic leather and geotechnical textile materials, and have played a leading role in promoting the formulation and revision of relevant standards and expanding market applications

The production capacity and output of industrial textiles in Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Shanghai and other six provinces and cities account for about 80% of the country, forming industrial clusters with prominent leading industries such as Zhejiang Haining warp knitting composite materials, Jiangsu Funing filter materials, Shandong Lingxian geosynthetics, Hubei Xiantao medical and sanitary materials, and the scale effect of clusters has initially appeared
(IV) significant application benefits in important fields
the development of industrial textiles has made positive contributions to promoting the development and technological progress in related fields of the national economy. In the medical field, the development and application of disposable surgical clothing, masks and other medical protection products with high virus barrier efficiency have effectively responded to the epidemic situations such as SARS and influenza A, reduced the probability of cross infection and improved the level of medical protection. In the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, the application of bag type dust removal technology can improve the interception efficiency of dust emission from thermal power generation by more than five times, and can separate and recover precious and rare metals and turn waste into treasure.
